Prelicensing Course (5 Hour Class)

Service Description

The pre-licensing class (5-hour class) is a state mandatory course taught via ZOOM, providing students with knowledge to apply behind-the-wheel. All students must have either a photo ID learner's permit or a NY state photo ID and interim/paper permit-- no exceptions. A link will be sent out 24 hours before the start of class with a ZOOM link and credentials. We recommend students first take the 5 Hour Class first, then plan their lessons around the road test date. After two business days, a certificate of completion (form MV-278) will be created. All students must pick up their certificates within 5 business days from our Hollis branch during office hours. For Duplicate/lost certificates, students should contact the office for more information. A 4% service charge is added for all credit transactions.
